We’re proud to be in our 10th season of Wild West Arts performances, educational presentations and professional lessons and classes!
OhioWesternArts.Org is your window to some of the best Wild West entertainment and education east of the Mississippi. Started in 2002 at The Whip Artistry Studio in Jamestown, Ohio, Ohio Western Arts Showcase was originally designed to support Whip Artists. After moving our main event to the Annie Oakley Festival in Greenville, Ohio in 2003, our vision changed to include all of the Wild West Arts and we started the Ohio Regional Convention of the Wild West Arts Club, which closed on 2007.
Today, the Annie Oakley Western Arts Showcase is the premier western entertainment on the grounds of the long-running Annie Oakley Festival and hosts 5 featured performances from Friday to Sunday. The 2012 AOWAS is scheduled for July 27-29, 2012!
In addition to the Annie Oakley event, OWAS has now expanded to host a number of other events and activities throughout the year in conjunction with The Whip Artistry Studio, our home base in Jamestown, Ohio. Keep an eye on our schedule of events as we add new ones each month ranging from public performances to lessons and television appearances.
